This is a mask pattern for a low-polygon red panda mask. You will be receiving a 13 page digital download that includes includes a tips page, order of operations, map of the pieces, instructions on simple paw gloves, and two different sizes (7.5” and 9.25” tall) to choose from. It’s the ultimate in DIY! This is an easy pattern with a minimal number of pieces; it’s a good beginner mask for this reason.

These masks fit very closely to the head and face so if you’re used to a roomier costume try the pattern out in cardstock to get an idea of which size you need or if you need to enlarge the pattern further. The red panda is also unusually wide for a mask so you may do better to measure the height of the face opening you need rather than the width.

You will at bare minimum need 4 square feet of cardboard, elastic, hot glue or contact cement, and acrylic paint to complete this mask. Also works with EVA foam.
